Kentucky FAIR Plan Reinsurance Association

The Kentucky FAIR Plan was established pursuant to KRS Chapter 304, Subtitle 35. The purpose is to establish and maintain a non-profit residual market mechanism whereby Property Insurance and Casualty Insurance can be made available to all worthy applicants and to distribute equitably the costs, losses, or gains, if any, arising therefrom among all members of the Plan and the related reinsurance association created and existing pursuant to the FAIR Plan Statutes.

Effective 1/1/09 our system has been upgraded!

• You may notice minor layout changes in the declarations and bills however coverages remain unchanged.
• Policy numbers will change. The prefixes will be:
  DW for Dwelling Fire and Mobile Home, HP for Homeowners, CO for Commercial Fire and FF for Farm Fire. We will continue to use the existing 7 digit number, however a 0 (zero) will be placed in front.
  An example of the number is DW03456789.
• We will offer a 5-pay plan which will bill in 20% increments ($4.00 service charge per installment).
